Hi All, I know not an impreza but very much an enthusiast's car, the time has come for my Legacy estate to move along to pastures new as I need something slightly larger and do not want to end up battering this rare car trying to make it fit. Some headline details below, loads more info available, if you know anyone who may be interested please put them in touch. It will be going onto pistonheads or auotrader or similar over the weekend.
Subaru Legacy GT Spec B Tuned by STI (Chassis BP5-098181)
First Manufactured: 2005 (Oct)
35J Regal Blue Pearl
Imported by Torque GT in Nov 2018
Grade 4.5 at auction @ 97,708kms = 60,712 miles
2 UK owners, Current mileage 81k miles
UK Reg - WH55 JVU
Done by Torque GT at Import:
*Full UK Conversion and Registration
*Speedo & ODO Conversion to MPH
*BIMTA Certified
*Dinitrol Underbody and Cavity Protection
*Full service incl Cambelt and water pump
*New Brakes all around - EBC discs + yellow stuff pads
Additional Items installed by TGT;
* Ohlins Road & Track suspension
* Fujitsubo Legalis Super R Exhaust (sounds great outside, but really quiet inside)
* STi Front Strut Brace
* Retrimmed STi Steering wheel
* Carbon fibre front grille
This is JDM model 2.0 litre turbo (twinscroll) with a 5 speed manual gearbox. Car VX report available (that I got done prior to purchasing).
Practical, refined, effortless performance, that can return ~40mpg on a motorway run. I have owned the car for just over 2 years and have covered ~18k miles and averaged ~33mpg over that time.
The car was remapped for Super unleaded UK fuel by Enginetuner at 290BHP/285ft.lb at 1.25bar boost (graph available).
The has since had full set of Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 Tyres, and a full suspension geo+setup by Chevron as I was not happy with the performance of the Ohlins suspension. It now works great.
This is a Tuned By STI model featuring a wide range of STI enhancements over the standard GTB model, although these are focussed on the trim and handling rather than power output. Including a front splitter, model specific exhaust (replaced by previous owner and I do not have the original), uprated Brembo brakes, and braided hoses. 18” STI wheels, STI stitched leather/Alcantara seats (electrically adjustable drivers seat), STI electro luminescent gauge pack, STI external badging.
The TB-STI model was a production run of 400 units, and I understand from a friend who can find this sort of information, that this is 1 of only 98 GT (estate) variants made in this production run.
Split fold rear seats, Boot load cover and Subaru boot tray/liner. STI branded rear load step stainless steel protector. Legacy interior floor mat set.
Single zone climate control, with replacement console providing for a UK double DIN stereo install. Car currently has a Kenwood double DIN DAB unit (this is not included).
Car is fitted with a PSI3 ECU monitor with oil temperature and pressure sensors added.
This is a fantastic car that has been well looked after, and the regal blue pearl is a fantastic colour (it was one of the deciding factors when I bought the car). Lots of documentation, including some original JDM records.
Looking for offers around £12k.
