    Guys :)

Subaru's are scrambling my head slowly, my rb5 has decided to leak a little oil from the rocker cover gaskets, I can see smoke and oil smell from it dripping down on manifold, I heard its quite common with the classics, is it hard job to do or best give it to someone in the know?

Fairly straight forward Bry. It’ll likely be the plastic wedge shaped seals that’s broken. As you say ,common problem. Kits are easily sourced bud.

Just called Subaru, £116 for both gaskets and the bolts etc which I thought wasn't too bad tbh

I would suggest replacing the 2 half moon blanks as well at the same time. No need for sealant if the gasket is genuine. I did use some gasket sealant for the half moons. Be very careful tightening up the bolts. They are shouldered and the torque setting is very low. You do not want to overtighten them or you will shag your head!

@asperformance will be able to advise and supply you with what you need.

Never replaced half moon rubbers. You most likely need the cam cover gasket and seal washer gaskets plus some gasket sealer .
