I hope that the taxes are included!
I’m going to ask them!
The "ready to collect" is what makes me think it may not be taxed. But if they are expecting you to trailer it away that's no problem.
Forgot to mention...
I won’t be registering it in the UK!
Just going to pick it up via trailer!
I don’t see the reason to register it....
But i’ll still need to pay the customs duty fees....
That’s two customs duty fees, one in UK and one in Latvija, and to get it registered it will cost a fortune...
And the biggest problem of all, is that i don’t think that where i live, the RA has a sertificate, hasn’t been crash tested, and isn’t therefor road legal..
Maybe it won’t be a problem, because at the end of the day, in the papers it will be a STI!
I hope it will pass..
I’ll talk to my Department!
Isnt Latvija in EU?
So there wont be 10% of customs and VAT to pay. Just maybe some import taxes. In Slovenija its like this. You pay vat and customs only when car enters EU from third country (japan). Just ask about certificate, you will probbably need COC document to registet it.
I’ll talk to my local Vehicle Department!
Hopefully i will be able to not pay the customs and vat!
