Im asking because the wife (without me knowing) :lipssealed: has booked us two weeks in Jan for our anniversary, but neither of us have been which isn’t a problem but we want to know some nice sites etc to see. We fly to Bangkok and want to head to Pattaya and Phuket etc, any info will be welcome

Makes me sick tbh. No first hand experience but I also know some decent people that have been there and have said it's beautiful.

its best place iv ever been , done 2 months in it
parts are very sleezy so dont be shocked
bangkok is very intense , some cant handle it , i done 2 weeks there
islands down south are where you should go if only got 2 weeks
you can spend a few days in each
dont bother booking hotels for the 2 weeks
way cheaper to book in person and easier find nice spots , theres any amount of them

Bangkok is definitely worth staying in for a few days, really interesting culturally, really busy, and really hot! We went down to Karon Beach in Phuket which was nice but if we had the choice again we might prefer Chiang Mai (elephant sanctuary) in the North. We caught a boat from Phuket to Phi Phi island, which was practically paradise and the boat tour from there to small local islands (Bamboo island--has the warmest sea ever!--and Monkey island) was definitely the highlight of our trip. Hope you have a great anniversary there!
