Album: WRX type ra STi version III

I have wanted a type-ra STi for years and now i finally have one. Has had full engine rebuild from previous owner with knife Edge billet crank, .2mm oversized forged dish top piston set, high performance main bearing set and rod bearing set, performance rods & racing stud kit, DSR 20g td05 (big punch but very laggy though), 300 lph fuel pump. Version 8 bonnet scoop, type r style front lip and side skirts. Vented, slotted and dimpled front/rear brake rotors. Rokbloks mud flaps. Hi/low boost toggle switch. Hks electric valve controller. Gearbox rebuild (long wait for parts from japan). Some panel n' paint work. Not mint yet but will be ;) pop rivet strengthened seams throughout, tein street spec coilovers front & rear. the wheels are 17'' advanti stalkers from previous owner but i will be changing to fifteen52 tarmac or something similar when i can afford it. boost & oil temp gauges will be changed from white back plate to black to suit the rest of the cockpit, not sure what a previous owner was thinking at the time of installation. hi/low boost toggle switch will be changed from cheesy missile type switch to normal black plastic type switch at some point.

    Hi Neal - I quite like the 'cheesy missile switch' .............. very TOP GUN :)
    Nice rig. I'd love to get another one (SCOOOB 2) and go to town on performance. Trust its still going well ! Enjoy the forthcoming summer

    Yeah she is still going well thanks Chris, I wish she was as mint as yours buddy but she's still fairly tidy.
    I get the feeling she rocked some lamco gauges some years ago but was savaged out of the car for some tacky fast n furious style pillar gauges... I wish they left the lamco's in there ;)
    What's more is that the factory gauges go for big bucks these days.

    Lots of electrical work to get the hi/low toggle and evc going again too but hopefully will be up n running by Christmas fingers crossed
