It's sold. Guy's had a lot of calls and as a result is planning to get more Type Rs in - priced around a similar level, not minters or low mileage.

Not a surprise at that price really. Were you interested in it?

After a couple of years in newages I may be potentially exploring a route back into classics...

He indeed had a Smoggie accent.

Not surprised it's sold if any good.
Yes i thought it was rather too reasonably priced
to be a Version 6 minter.
And yes also to the Mazda.
This is the lightweight version of my GTR.
No leccy windows, rear spoilers or air-con etc. Stripped
out and almost ready to race/rally/hillclimb, whatever.
These GTA-Es are the very rarest of all 4WD Turbo Familias,
bit like the Cooper S 970cc from the sixties.
If this GTA is good, it will rocket in price with
it's rarity, if kept in perfect nick.
However my GTR is is in perfect concours nick
with ALL the goodies as standard.
Makes mine slightly heavier but with a
decent exhaust, good induction and a turbo
    boost, i'm right up there.
Hard to put a value on it, especially when i
have no intention of selling it.
Prices for perfect GTRs in Japan are going
through the roof, there are just none around
    anymore that haven't been abused.
Was more interested in the reputation of this Rob Burke.
Seems to have a few different JDM motors
    up there.:mm::wondering:

    rare car

  10. He is indeed over in 'Boro which is about 15 minutes away from me so if anybody wants anything viewing in the flesh on their behalf I'd be happy to oblige
