Hi lads. If i push on impreza in 1st or 2nd gear she misses at high revs. Doesnt do it everytime only now and then.
Drives faultlessly in normal driving. Ticks over fine. Only when pushed and reved does it miss and stutter.
    What could be the problem?

Sticky actuator causing overboost can cause a misfire

Really need some more detail about when, how, etc........

Is there a way of checking coilpacks? These are on plug leads on v2 right?

Is there a way to check airflow meter? Engine light doesnt come on.

Can i lubricate actuator in some way?

It happens when reved hard not at any particular revs could be 2500 or 4500 it varies. But when driven easy it never does it

Also do a quick diagnostics for any fault codes.

Unplug air flow when running if it cuts out it's good. Coil packs should be plastic with rubber ends, take rubber off and check for cracks

Dirty boost solenoid can give similar symptoms. V1- V2 coilpacks are well known to crack with age. Dirty maf is another possible.
My money is on the coil packs if it only does it under load. @msisleman might have some ideas?

Fuel pick up issues? Is the fuel pump teabag filter clean?
